About Us
We met six years ago and fell in love. When we met, we did a complete interview of each other as we were both so sure about what we were looking for. We both passed with flying colors and discovered that we wanted the same things in a relationship! If it had been a job interview, we would have hired each other on the spot! We share similar values and interests — in particular our love for children. We knew from the start that we wanted to have a family, and both of us have always had close relationships with kids throughout our lives. We know how to have fun, laugh and play games of all sorts with children of all ages. When we go to Los Angeles to spend time with Rowy's cousins' kids, Jake and Warren, we create fun obstacle courses with all of their friends and play games at the beach and in the pool. We are grown-up figures for the boys when their parents are away, but we know how to play and have real fun with them. We've watched them grow from youngsters to teenagers and know that we play an important role in their lives, as they do in ours.
We are both well established in our careers. Virginia owns her own business and is a financial planner working from a home office managing local school districts' and teachers' retirement plans. Rowy is a senior software engineering project manager, who works from home part-time. Our careers give us flexibility to meet the needs of a child and have plenty of time to be stay-at-home moms while still managing our business and careers. We will make sure our child is exposed to a wide variety of activities and opportunities!
